Mark Owens
Mark Owens is a native of Kansas City. His musical career started in high school where he played the string bass. His senior year he performed with the Kansas City Philharmonic on three occasions. He also played in the Kansas All State Orchestra his senior year of high school.
Mark attended KU on a music scholarship. After college Mark set out to be a professional musician. He has performed with many groups such as The Automatics featuring Spike Blake where they opened for Montgomery Gentry at the Missouri State Fair. He has performed on the Fox 4 morning show with the band Right on Red. He also played with Mickey Funk and the KC Review. Mark's mastery of the bass is evident in his playing and is a great musician to work with.
