OLEN BRIGGS - Drums, Lead Vocals

Olen was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He started playing the drums when he was 15. Olen attended Peru State College on a music scholarship. He gained extensive experience playing in and around Omaha for several years with such bands and musicians as Blue Moon Jamm Quartet, Robert Glasser and Urban Jamm, Taxi Driver (Classic Rock), Silicon Bomb (Original Funk Rock) and Jazz singer Dane Vannatter from Boston.

Olen plays Yamaha drums, Sabian cymbals and uses Vic Firth sticks.

Olen is the foundation of the Platinum Express rhythm section. His funk oriented style is a perfect fit with the high energy R&B Motown sound of the Express.
