MIKE HERRERA - Saxophones, Flute

Michael Herrera II was born and raised here in Kansas City. Michael will recieve his BM in Jazz Performance at the University of Missouri - Kansas City this fall. While at UMKC, he recieved his direction from jazz legend Bobby Watson. He also studied classical saxophone with world-renowned classical saxophonist Tim Timmons. He currently plays with other groups such as Miguel Deleon's Mambo Orchestra, Bram Wijnand's Majestic Seven, Clint Ashlock's New Jazz Order, and The New Vintage Jazz Band.
